Paritee acquires award-winning DVA Creative Technology Studio

STOCKHOLM, May 16, 2024 – Paritee, the Scandinavian-based holding company that owns Brands2Life and Geelmuyden Kiese Group, has acquired the internationally acclaimed DVA Creative Technology Studio.  DVA, with its team in Stockholm will become Paritee’s cornerstone offering within Creative Technology.

DVA Creative Technology Studio operates at the interface between marketing, communications and technology to create inspiring and engaging digital experiences for brands that want to surprise and stand out.

With its ability to develop communication using cutting-edge new technology within XR and AI, DVA is recognised as one of the world's most award-winning creative technology studios, earning recurring recognitions at both Auggie Awards, Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, and Epica Awards.

The four founders of DVA, Anna Adamsson, Bo Gustafsson, Jessica Thorelius and Johan Anstérus, are all industry veterans with an extensive agency background. DVA is today a trusted partner to global brands such as Audi, McDonalds, the Royal Swedish Opera, Spotify and Volvo.

“DVA is a unique agency, with its world-class talents and offering so this really is an incredible acquisition. We deeply believe in Creative Tech as a differentiating and enriching communicative edge at a time when brands are struggling to reach out and cut through the noise,” says Leif Geiger, Chief Growth Officer at Paritee.

Creative Tech is a rapidly growing area within the communications industry and DVA will be a welcome addition to Paritee's emerging agency platform in EMEA. Paritee and DVA are passionate about talent and creativity. With shared values and capabilities, it is envisaged that even greater customer value is now being built.

“After seven years in the market this is exactly the kind of next step DVA was looking for. With Paritee, we are ready to gear up, address more markets, and even bigger assignments. Teaming with an experienced partner with a clear focus on innovation and growth, this suits us perfectly,” explains Jessica Thorelius, CEO of DVA Creative Technology Studio.

“By virtue of its market positioning and its capabilities in the space of everything digital, VR/AR/AI, gaming, experiential and real time VFX, DVA becomes an additional strategic cornerstone for Paritee as we seek to become an international home for truly innovative agencies and talents who want to make a difference. Entrepreneurship and a passion for communication characterizes both Paritee and DVA, and that sense of belonging is a strong foundation for our continued growth journey”, Jonas Palmqvist, CEO of Paritee and new chairman of the board of DVA, concludes.

DVA Creative Technology Studio will continue to act as an independent unit, with customers on both the client and agency side.
